Project of the Month: Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman

The Baby Surprise Jacket was designed in 1968 by Elizabeth Zimmerman. This jacket is a wonderful way to keep the little one warm in Spring, and the pattern is a perfect way to try out self stripping yarn or for using up yarn leftovers from other projects. Supplies for this project are 15% off if purchased in April. A sample of this jacket, knit by Kathy Snyder, is available in the store.

The class schedule has also been updated for April & May.

Have you ever had a wonderful idea for a knitting or crochet class? Have you ever wanted to teach people to knit or crochet? Well Balls & Skeins is looking for new class ideas and new teachers!

Similarly, are you a fiber artist? Do you spin your own yarn? Do you raise sheep, llamas, or other animals for wool? Have you ever thought doing a presentationon your art or your wool at Balls & Skeins would be fun? Do you have an idea about a great event to do at the store? Well, we’d love to have hear your ideas for events!
